Relation: As a friend and Realtor helping with the sale of her home on Majuba Hill.
I am so sorry to hear of Eileen’s passing. She was a very grand lady and I admired her for staying as long as she did on Majuba Hill. She always had a smile on her face no matter what was going on in her life and seemed to not be fazed by the bumps that life handed her. A very talented artist also. We have one of her water colours hanging in our living room along with several from, her friend, Gwen Gregoric. Both were such strong ladies. We can only hope that we can live as long and active life as those two ladies did. My wife, Willa, often met Eileen grocery shopping and was in awe of her driving from Majuba Hill when she was over 90 years old, could we be so lucky, We are so sorry for you loss, Eileen will be sadly missed. I meant to pass on our condolences to the family earlier but missed the opportunity. I was alway so impressed with the care her family gave her during her struggles on Majuba Hill.
